High Frequency EEG Since 1993 , CRI has engaged in several major projects based on EEG technology. CRI's initial breakthrough came from research performed by Dr. Richard F. Kaplan and Dr. Kenneth A. Loparo between 1993 -1996 (Research overview) when it was discovered that high frequency EEG signals (>30Hz) were extremely useful for human performance, sleep and anesthesia monitoring. These high frequency EEG signals were considered to be noise in the early 1990's. CRI continues to develop advanced EEG based technology in the healthcare field.
